ADHESIVE LINER FINISH WEIGHT PER MSI WIDTH
P82 Film Gloss .30# 54”

  • Overlaminate: The overlaminate is an embossed vinyl, or a clear high polished vinyl with a permanent adhesive that is applied to the printed decal with a cold laminating process. The overlaminate is UL approved for slip resistance.
  • Base Film: Walk-On Graphics uses a white or clear flexible vinyl with a high performance removable acrylic adhesive. This film is available non-top coated for screen-printing and top coated for offset or litho printing.
  • Printing and Laminating Procedures: The white or clear vinyl base film is printed by whatever process is required. Make sure the correct film (top coated or non-top coated) is used. Apply the overlaminate film to the surface of the printed base film using typical cold roll laminating procedures. The rolls of the laminator must be clean to prevent dirt and dust entrapment. Make sure that there are no wrinkles in the film as it is coming out of the nip rollers where the material is being laminated. There should be no silicones used in the ink, this could cause delamination between the two materials. This product is now ready to be cut to the correct shape, via die cutting or guillotine.
  • Recommended Floor Surfaces for Application: Tile Floors
    Sealed Wood
    Ceramic Tile
    Waxed Vinyl
    Sealed Concrete
  • Application Procedure: Remove the release film liner from the back of the graphic and position it on the desired location of the floor. Lift one edge of the decal. Using a squeegee with overlapping strokes, apply pressure from the middle toward the edge of the decal.

If the decal is large, it is recommended to spray the floor with water mixed with a few drops of liquid soap and follow the above procedure. It is important that all edges and corners are applied with firm pressure. When more than one panel is used, butt the edges together. Never overlap the decals.

After application is completed, do not polish decals or surrounding floor for 24 hours. If the edges lift at all from the floor, the decal must be removed immediately and replaced. This is to prevent any accident or tripping.
  • Maintenance: Maintain using normal floor maintenance procedures.
  • Removal: Remove by lifting one edge and pulling at a sharp angle using short sharp strokes until the decal is up. If the decal is applied to a waxed floor, it is recommended that the floor be rewaxed.
  • Base film can be custom sheeted: Yes
